Due to the on-going pandemic, this school year Children’s Concert Society is offering our programs online.  Our outstanding group of artists have agreed to bring their shows to the schools in video form.  We strive to bring the very best of instrumental, vocal and dance programs to our student communities.

CHILDREN’S CONCERT SOCIETY ANNOUNCES SCHOLASTIC COMPOSER WINNERS
 
Children’s Concert Society will celebrate the winners of the Scholastic Composers Contest on April 4th at 6pm at the Portage Country Club.  The first place winners will have the opportunity to perform their winning compositions which were judged by The University of Akron Theory and Composition Department.  This event, which is free and open to the public, is in its 64th year.  Scholarship winners will be announced that evening and a reception will follow.
